Your Support In Action
What Your Donations Help Provide
Our church has had the privilege of providing incredible services to our local community, all while spreading the word of God. Liberty has been able to give support during times of emergency, disasters, and even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funding is also used to fuel our many ministries, including one that supports Project Linus. Project Linus is a national program making blankets for severely ill or traumatized children. Since its inception in 1995, Project Linus has donated over 8,000,000 blankets. Liberty’s Busy Bees ministry makes blankets for this program and meets on the first and third Mondays of every month from 10:00 AM until noon and invite all who are interested to join them.
Several men and women of our congregation have participated in the Lake Oconee River Basin Walk to Emmaus and are active in weekly Emmaus reunion groups. We also actively support the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
We routinely provide concessions at the Liberty Truck and Tractor Pull. Proceeds from these events supplement other donations to further our ministries.
From missions that spread the message of Christ to supporting programs for local children, your funding is essential to continue the mission of Liberty and the United Methodist Church.
